Patricia Ann Heck

Patricia Ann Heck, 64, of Catawba Island died Monday, October 6, 2014 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton. She was born March 8, 1950 in Cleveland, OH the daughter of John M. and Marguerite (Morgan) Weniger. She was the devoted wife of Charles Heck who she married on Nov. 27, 1975. He preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 2010. Patricia worked in finance operations for Huntington Bank and she was the business manager for Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton where she was active in the altar rosary society, the church development director and a Eucharistic Minister team leader. She was an associate member of Sisters of Mercy and a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1610, Port Clinton. Pat was a faithful catholic who was kind and thoughtful of others. She was a fun loving, quick witted person with a wonderful sense of humor. Her enjoying delight was gathering with family and friends at her home. She loved planning big parties and serving delicious food. Her treasured Jack Russell Terrier "Sparky" gave her many hours of enjoyment and companionship. Surviving are son: William (Jill) Heck of Medina, OH; grandchildren: Caroline (Matt) Gatsch, Alison (Chuck) Albers; great-grandchildren: Colin and Evelyn Schleappi, Tyler Albers; beloved friend and true sister in many ways: Sister Mary Jane Fisher of Port Clinton; brother-in-law: Gene (Bettie) Heck of Amherst; sister-in-law: Cynthia Weniger of Valley View, OH; nephew: Robert Weniger, Jr.; nieces: Heather Weniger, Debra Heck; great-niece: Caley Coleff. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles and brother: Deacon Robert Weniger, Sr. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3:00 7:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton where Rosary services will be conducted at 6:30 pm Thursday. Prayer services will begin at 10:00 am Friday in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Father John Missler, at 10:30 am Friday, October 10, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Lorain, OH at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or Sisters of Mercy.
