Patricia A. Rickle

Patricia A. Rickle, 82, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, and formerly of Tiffin, Ohio and Carey, Ohio, died Monday, November 18, 2013 at her home. She was born on February 25, 1931 in Tiffin, Ohio, a daughter of the late Carl H. & Maxine T. (Barger) Keck. Pat was a 1949 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, and was a teacher at the former Georgianne Beauty School in Tiffin. She also was a farmer and a bus driver for Angeline School & Industries, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Pat was a member of LaPointe United Methodist Church, Port Clinton, and enjoyed crossword puzzles. She greatly loved her dogs, Harley and Casey. On October 15, 1949, Pat married Richard E. Rickle, and he preceded her in death on October 8, 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Don) LaFountain, Oak Harbor; sister, Marilyn Kimmet; grandchildren, John (Angie) LaFountain and Jason (Roxanne) LaFountain; great-grandchildren, Devin, Dylan, Bailey, John, Derek, and Nicole, and great-great grandson, Joseph. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 22, 2013 at Zion-Bloom Cemetery, Vanlue, Ohio, with Pastor Chuck Kaylor officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Memorial Hospital, Fremont, Ohio.
