Patricia A. Mcdaniel

Patricia A. McDaniel, 68 of Genoa, OH died Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Magruder Hospital following a brief illness. She was born August 30, 1955 in Port Clinton, OH to the late Christopher and Delores (McLaughlin) Mahler. She was a 1973 graduate of Danbury High School and EHOVE. On January 3, 1981 she married Mark McDaniel, and he survives. Pat retired from Aldi’s in Tiffin, OH. She loved caring for her flowers, her dog, shopping with her sister Karen, taking care of her swimming pool and having her grandchildren over.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years Mark of Genoa, OH; daughter Erin (Sebastian Ryan) Dayringer of Sandusky, OH; son Christopher McDaniel of Sandusky, OH; grandchildren: Lexi McDaniel, Michael & Gabby Dayringer; and sisters Karen (Joe) Ihnat of and Christine (Roger) Priddy both of Marblehead, OH. She was also preceded in death by a twin brother Michael Mahler.

Pat was an illuminating presence and left an impression on everyone who knew her. She was full of positivity and laughter. She put others feelings before her own and could make anyone walk away feeling better about themselves and more uplifted. Patricia was absolutely, incredibly unforgettable and will be greatly missed by so many.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 10-11am at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. Services will begin at 11am at the Funeral Home.
