Pastor Terrell Shemar Turner Bulger

Pastor Terrell Shemar Turner Bulger, 24, of Port Clinton, Ohio, left this life to be with his Savior and Lord Thursday, October 7, 2021. Born in Sandusky, Ohio, to Rochelle Freeman, he was a graduate of Port Clinton High School. Pastor Terrell was honored to serve the congregation of Faith United Church of God in Christ in Port Clinton, Ohio and was a member of United Community Church of God in Christ, Toledo, OH. Pastor Terrell is survived by his mother, Rochelle Freeman; grandmother Mamie Cal; Father Jerry Bulger; grandfathers Gary King and Randy Fields; brothers, DeMorris Turner, Jordan Bulger, and Braylon Freeman; sister, Dasia Freeman; aunts Betty Delagrange, Joy Sherrod, and Faye Sidney; uncle Weston Johnson, nieces Laiyah and Aniya; nephew Damani; cousins Jeffrey and Pam Robinson, Ina Sidney, Sharon Fuller; and especially close friends Brandon Reeves, Rayshaud Grant, Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Rayshaudra Hensley, Pastor Jared Nolan, and Tiffany Bassett. Pastor Terrell is now reunited beyond the veil with his great grandmother Ada M. Cason, great grandmother Lucy Bulger, grandmother Sandra Fields, grandmother Luella Cal, and Aunt Lois Sidney. Pastor Terrell's first love was preaching and praising the Lord. He was a spiritual man involved in many church activities. He was an accomplished musician who played piano, organ, keyboard, and drums. Many commented he was an old soul because he was mature beyond his years. At age eight, he became a junior deacon under the ministry of Pastor Mark and Denise Warren of Grace United, where he received his minister's license as a teenager, and later became an elder. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and meeting new people. He made a dynamic impact on everyone he met. He loved to make people laugh and was known for his contagious smile and sense of humor. Pastor Terrell was an avid aquarium hobbyist with a beautiful assortment of tropical fish. A celebration of Pastor Terrell's life will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Erie Shores Assembly of God, 220 South Gill Road, Port Clinton, Ohio. Viewing at 11:00 a.m. Service begins at 12:00 Noon. Pastor Mark Warren and Pastor Dan Cunningham will be officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. The family would like to thank all those who expressed their love through calls, visits, and donations.
