Omeda Helen Mccune

Omeda Helen McCune, 92, of Lakeside, OH passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at The Chalet of Ohio Living Vineyard on Catawba. She was born April 14, 1928 in Ashland, OH the daughter of Roy B. and Rose (Voight) Leedy. She graduated from Green Springs High School and went to nursing school at Rush Presbyterian in Chicago. She married Donald E. McCune on January 10, 1959 and he preceded her in death on February 1, 1997. She was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star, Port Clinton Chapter. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and cross stitch. Surviving are her children: Nancy E. Heath of Toledo, OH, Brian McCune of Lakeside; step-son: Donald R. (Ruth) McCune of Cape Coral, FL; grandson: Donald D. McCune of Lakeside and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; mother: Rose Leedy; father and step-mother Roy and Margaret Leedy; sisters: Rosabel McGinty and Dorine Drake. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 3:00 p 7:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. Order of Eastern Star services will be conducted in the funeral home Thursday evening at 7:00 pm. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, March 5, 2021 at Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
