Olga Marez

Olga Marez, 79, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on October 25, 1936 in Durango, Mexico, the daughter of the late Pablo and Teresa (Gutierrez) Alba. She married Gilberto Marez and he survives. Olga was a homemaker and enjoyed working outside in her gardens, growing beautiful flowers, and tending to her vegetables. Her passion was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Gilberto; children, Joe (Sheila) Flores, Sandusky, Ohio; Manuela (Jose) Medina, Lorain, Ohio; Angela Ruiz, Marblehead, Ohio; Mary Marez, California; Sonia Partida, Texas; Jane (Patrick) Wahlers, Port Clinton, Ohio; Gilberto Marez, Jr., Brunswick, Ohio; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Homer Alba, California; and sister, Mary Rodriquez, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rosa Flores; son, Pablo Flores; two brothers and one sister. Per the family's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services at this time.
