Odessa E. Schultz, 96, of Oak Harbor died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at The Heritage Nursing Home, Findlay, OH. She was born April 28, 1913 in Oak Harbor, OH to the late William and Evelyn (Edgar) Leiser. On December 5, 1931 she married Arthur W. Schultz who preceded her in death July 7, 1994. Odessa worked as a missionary at the Winnebago Indian Mission in Black River Falls, WI. She was a longtime member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor, where she was active in Sunday School, Ladies Aid Society, Sewing Circle and helping with church dinners. She was also a member of the Ottawa County Farm Bureau and its Council, and The Country Culture Club. Odessa was a 4-H leader and taught many girls the art of sewing. Survivors include her daughter Doris E. (Howard) Wymer of Findlay, OH; son Kenneth C. (Barbara) Schultz of Tempe, AZ; brother Myron (Alice) Leiser of Oak Harbor; 6 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, and 4 great- great- grandchildren . She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral Services will begin at Noon, Saturday, February 27, 2010 at St. Paul United Church of Christ with the Rev. David A. Voll officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the beginning of Services at the Church. Burial will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
