Norma J. Easton

Norma J. Easton, 83, of Port Clinton died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton. She was born May 9. 1929 in Port Clinton, the daughter of Hale and Bernice (Besso) Knache. She married Lloyd Melvin Zelms on June 26, 1946 and he preceded her in death on April 23, 1969. She then married Milferd F. Easton on October 16, 1993 and he survives. Mrs. Easton was a LPN at Magruder Hospital retiring in 1991. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton; Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1610, Port Clinton and she enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Surviving are her husband, Milfred; sons, Jerry (Linda) Zelms of Port Clinton, Gary Zelms on Iowa, Mike (Janet) Zelms of Fremont; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Shirley Millinger of Port Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Douglas Millinger, Carlton and his wife Shirley Millinger; sisters, Dorothy Mae Druyor and Betty Jane Gulau. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where visitation will be held Monday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Rev. James Lehman will be officiating. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
