Norma G. Ley

Norma G. Ley, 94 of Oak Harbor, OH and formerly of Portland, OR died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor under Hospice Care. She was born November 16, 1923 in Portland, OR to the late Henry and Arminda (Kenny) Tipp. On October 14, 1944 she married Alexander Gordon Ley who preceded her in death December 9, 1991. Norma was a homemaker and also provided day care when she lived in Portland. She was a member of Seventh- Day Adventist Church, Sandusky, OH and more recently the Bettsville Reflection Ministry, Bettsville, OH. Survivors include her daughter Cheryl (James) Grieger of Oak Harbor, OH and son Alex Ley of Portland, OR; sister Betty Lee of Portland, OR; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great- great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by a son James Ley, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Visitation will be 10-11am Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel where Services will begin at 11am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Hall officiating. Burial will be in Skyline Memorial Garden in Portland, OR at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to Reflection Ministry Building Fund, Oak Harbor Library, or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
