Noreen A. Sandwisch

Noreen A. Sandwisch, 81, of Oak Harbor, OH died Friday, August 25, 2017 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. She was born June 29, 1936, the daughter of Melville and Gladys (Cover) Wadsworth. She married Gordon Sandwisch on March 17, 1956 and he survives. Mrs. Sandwisch retired from Magruder Hospital where she started as a nurse's aide and was the credit and collection manager when she retired. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of Riverview Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband: Gordon; daughter: Patti Jo (Michael) Hipp of Pemberville; sons: Michael (Beth) Sandwisch of Port Clinton, Thomas (Cindy) Sandwisch of Oak Harbor; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters: Sharon Meek of Oak Harbor, Janet (Robert) Buhrow of Oak Harbor, Helen (Terry) Durdel of Oak Harbor; brother: Roger (Kay) Wadsworth of Oak Harbor. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison St. Port Clinton, OH. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 301 N. Locust St. Oak Harbor, OH. Interment will be in Rusha Cemetery, Carroll Township at a later date.
