Nira Gay Graham

Nira Gay Graham, 86 of Oak Harbor, OH died Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born June 25, 1934 in Malco, West Virginia to the late Garcie and Bonnie (Hurd) White. On May 12, 1951 she married Earl Graham and he survives. Nira was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, cooking, and going to flea markets to hunt for her different collections. She kept weather journals that were more like a diary of the events of her life and those that she loved. She was known to Christmas shop all year long, both for her family and for children who would have gone without. She stockpiled toys and coats and other winter ware all year to donate. Nira was a private soul, a fiercely loyal wife, mom, grandma, and great- grandma. Survivors include her husband of almost 70 years, Earl of Oak Harbor; son David (Elizabeth “Sue”) Graham of Johnson City, TN; daughter Sandra (George) VonSeggern of Toledo, OH; grandchildren: Christine (Dan), Ronald, Eric, Charity, Jeremy, and Andy; 8 great- grandchildren; and 2 siblings. Private Services will be held by the Family at the Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. Burial will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
