Nevery Jane Whitt, 81, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at her home. She was born September 25, 1940 in Pikeville, KY the daughter of Lloyd and Hattie (Nickles) Blankenship. She married Asie Whitt in 1959 and he preceded her in death on June 7, 1990. She was a member of Pentecostal Church of God of Port Clinton, OH. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching soap operas and watching cooking shows. Surviving are her children: Lise (Garnet) Havens of Port Clinton, David Whitt of Sandusky, Glenn Whitt of Port Clinton, Temey Whitt of Port Clinton, Kimberly (Randy Zacharias, Sr.) Zacharias of Fostoria, Kevin (Amanda) Whitt of Port Clinton, Lorie Amderson of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Christina Corbett, Bradley (Dawn) Havens, Jennifer (Bobby) Swindell, Alexis Whitt, Brandon Whitt, Cole Whitt, Addison Whitt, Malinda (Andrew) Winter, Kasie Riggs, Amber Whitt, Dylan Spears, Cameron Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Kristy (Matt) Howard, Justin Murrell, Aaliyah Zacharias, Arthur Fick, Edward (Krystal) Fick; 33 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Merlin Stacy of Grundy, VA, Vivian Blankenship of Phelps, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Asie; grandchildren: Paige Whitt, Ryan Murrell, Catherine Whitt; sister: Betty Ann Blankenship; brothers: Lloyd Blankenship, Jessie Blankenship, Bob Blankenship, Louis Blankenship. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, October 22, 2021. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Pastor James Pitt will be officiating. A luncheon will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church Guild Hall, 214 E. Second St. Port Clinton, OH. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation may be given to the family c/o Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
