Natassia Miro "Tazi" Ramirez, 16, of Catawba Island died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in Port Clinton, OH. She was born March 13, 1994 in Columbus, OH the daughter of Carlos Ramirez and Elizabeth A. Knowlton. Tazi was a junior at Port Clinton High School and was active in the DECA program. She was a member of the Future Physicians of American and wanted to be a thoracic surgeon. She was the family peace keeper, loved to travel, enjoyed photography and listening to music. She also enjoyed boating to the Islands, especially Middle Bass Island. Surviving are her mother Elizabeth A. "Boo" (Dan "Digger" Cosic) Knowlton of Catawba Island; father: Carlos Ramirez of Mexico City; sisters: Rica Matisse of Catawba Island, Camille Simone of Catawba Island; brother: Carlos Chagall Ramirez of Mexico City; grandparents: Anne (Ed Stevens) Ashworth of Catawba Island, Carlos and Rica Ramirez of Mexico City; best friend: David Darr of Port Clinton; God Mother: Tia Sheila Castellarin of Columbus, OH, many nieces and nephews in Mexico and the United States and her extended family in Cleveland. Visitation will be held at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home Port Clinton on Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 4:00pm Saturday in the Funeral Home. Pastor Michael Currier of Body of Christ Community, Willoughby, OH will be officiating.
