Nancy Lou Meyer

Nancy Lou Meyer, 82 of Port Clinton, OH died Thursday, December 30, 2021 at her home under Hospice Care. She was born November 2, 1939 in Sandusky, OH to the late Henry and Leona M. (Jarvis) Cane Sr., She was a graduate of Sandusky High School. On September 16, 1967 she married Roger Meyer and he survives. Nancy worked for Periodic Publishing in Sandusky, as well as Walmart in Port Clinton from which she retired. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Port Clinton where she was a member of the Mariam Circle. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Roger of Port Clinton, OH; son Rodney (Baby) Meyer of Port Clinton, OH; daughter Renee (Odell) Simpson of Milan, OH; grandchildren: Noah, Nathan, Micah, Resly, and Dwayne; and sister Lois Smith of Sandusky, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Robin Meyer, and brother Donald Cane. Services will be held privately by the family at the Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky, OH, under the direction of the Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Port Clinton Chapel.
