Nancy L. Anderson

Nancy Lee Anderson, 75, of Oak Harbor, OH died April 20, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born March 7, 1934 in Oak Harbor, a daughter of the late George and Leata (Arndt) Rauch. She worked at Erie Army Depot, Benton-Carroll-Salem Schools and Commodore Perry Federal Credit Union. Nancy was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor where she was active in the choir, a Sunday School teacher and was previously on church council. She was also the organist at LaPointe Methodist Church, and she enjoyed being a Red Cross Volunteer, Ham Radio Operator, Antique Cars and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are her sons: Brad Anderson of Oak Harbor, Bart Anderson of Columbus, OH; sisters: Mary Lou Wehner of Oak Harbor; nieces and nephews: Jon Overmyer, Suzanne Arnold, E. J. Croll, Sara Louk, Amy Weibel, Martha Taylor, Julie Petrasek, Bill Rauch, Sally Wehner Everett, Kelly Phillips, Dave Wehner, Dan Logan, Diana Conn, Dana Reis and Denise Logan. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Ruth Overmyer, Geraldine Croll; brother: Myron Rauch; niece Mary Overmyer King. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 25, 2009 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. Private interment services will be held at Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, American Heart Association or the Red Cross of Ottawa County.
