Nancy Ann Yeisley

Nancy Ann Yeisley, 83, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Friday, August 30, 2013 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, under the care of Stein Hospice. She was born on March 4, 1930, a daughter of Benny & Margaret (Lucas) Puchalski, and was a 1950 graduate of Port Clinton High School. Nancy worked for many years at the former J. Weller Company, Oak Harbor, and retired from Riverview Nursing Home. She was an exceptional artist and loved drawing and crafts of all kinds. Nancy was known for her yard decorations and beautiful gardens for which she won an award. Also an accomplished seamstress, she made many of her own clothes and even sewed a canvas tent for her son. Nancy's main goal in life was to always be a good mother, and at that she was a great success. On June 23, 1951, she married Robert O. Yeisley at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, and he preceded her in death on July 28, 1995. Nancy is survived by her children, Robert L. (Carmelita) Yeisley, Fremont, Ohio and Sally (Jack) Favro, Oak Harbor, Ohio; her sisters, Bernie Puffenberger, Richmond, Indiana; grandchildren, Jeromy Favro, Jaclyn Favro, Star Ann Yeisley, Alethea Yeisley, and Andrea R. Yeisley; and great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Favro, Paige Favro, Ali Cobb, and Sienna Cobb. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Margie Kokinda The family will receive friends after 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
