Myron “Mike” Rauch, 84, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away peacefully on Saturday at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Oak Harbor on October 5, 1921, he was the son of George & Leata (Arndt) Rauch. He married the former Myrth Anstead on December 24, 1943. Mike was a lifelong farmer and was avidly involved in the raising and showing of Belgian draft horses. Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years, Myrth; daughter, Julia (Larry) Petrasek, Canal Fulton, OH; son, William (Lisa) Rauch, Oak Harbor; grandchildren, Suzanne Petrasek, Holli (Josh) Goetz, Bryan Rauch, Heidi Rauch, Katie Rauch, and great-granddaughter, Karly Goetz. Also surviving are his sisters, Mary Lou (Robert) Wehner, and Nancy Anderson, both of Oak Harbor. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Geraldine (Gaylord) Croll, and Ruth (Howard) Overmyer. Private family services will be held at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, and interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor, or Odyssey Hospice, Maumee, OH.
