Milton D. Morrisette

Milton D. Morrisette, 82, of Port Clinton passed away in the care of Stein Hospice surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. "Little D" as he was affectionately known was born in Harlan, KY on November 29, 1937 to Mildred and Ora Dell (Tolliver) Morrisette. He married his love Mary (Himon) Morrisette on December 3, 1962 and she preceded him in death on April 28, 2016. Milton retired from Ford Motor Company after 37 years of service. During his retirement he enjoyed fishing, listening to his Blues and playing spades or pinochle with his many friends and family. Left to cherish his memory are his sons: John (Ida) Matthews, Jr., Michael Matthews both of Sandusky, Kenneth (Carolyn) Morrisette of Port Clinton, daughters: Essie Cole, Audree Westbrook both of Port Clinton, Geneva Matthews, Kathleen Matthews both of Sandusky; many grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Milton was preceded in death by his wife: Mary; son: Ronald Smith and daughter Dottie Smith. Visitation will be held 1:00pm - 2:00 pm Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where family comments will be given at 2:00 pm Saturday followed by interment in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
