Mildred V. Deblase

Mildred V. DeBlase, 76, of Port Clinton, OH, died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. She was born October 25, 1930, the daughter of the late Arthur and Martha (Croftchek) Strause. Mrs. DeBlase was an assembler at General Motor’s New Departure Plant, Sandusky, OH. After her retirement she worked at Meijer’s in Sandusky. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving is her daughter, Marie Sehlmeyer of Port Clinton; son, Richard D. (Tracey) Rose, Jr. of Cartersville, GA; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard D. Rose, Sr., second husband, Charles DeBlase and grandchild, Robert Greening. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Sunday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday. The Rev. James Lehman will officiate.
