Mildred J. Kline

Mildred J. Kline, 81, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Monday, August 6, 2012 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on January 25, 1931 in Port Clinton, the daughter of the late William and Hilda (Hontz) Dubbert. She married Eugene Kline and he preceded her in death on June 14, 1987. Mildred worked as an assembler at the Philco Plant in Sandusky and then as a cook at Mon Ami Restaurant on Catawba Island for over 30 years until her retirement in 1993. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Port Clinton. Her hobbies included flower gardening and crocheting. She especially enjoyed feeding and watching the birds. Survivors include her children: Lois Collins (special friend, Rick Rahm), Port Clinton; Judy (Mike) Wolfe, Oak Harbor, Ohio; Ronald Kline, Port Clinton; Daniel (Nancy) Kline, Gypsum, Ohio; Peggy (Leon) Randalls, Dalton, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brothers: Bill (Helen) Dubbert, Fred (Dianne) Dubbert, Larry (Della) Dubbert, all of Port Clinton; half brother: Bernard Dubbert, Marblehead, Ohio, and lifelong friends: Chuck & Helen Gonzales. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Eugene; half brother: Gaylord; half sister: Ila; and an infant granddaughter. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton. On Friday, August 10, 2012 funeral services will be held at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor James Lehman officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
