Mildred Boytim

Mildred Boytim, 90, of Marblehead, OH died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at her residence. She was born Jan. 28, 1922 in Elyria, the daughter of Stephen and Anna (Kuzma) Boytim. During World War II she worked at Standard Products, Port Clinton after the war she worked at Boytim Grocery until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Church, Marblehead where she was the canter for over 30 years retiring in 2001. She was a dedicated worker for the church bingo and an avid sports fan expecially the Cleveland Indians. She loved working crossword puzzles. Surviving are her brothers: Robert (JoAnn) Boytim of Marblehead, Lyle Boytim of Marblehead; nieces Beth Ann (Rick) Krynock of Marblehead, Margaret Ann Shelton of Perry, OH; nephews Ned Boytim of Marblehead, Stephen Boytim of Marblehead, Dennis Boytim of Columbus; great-nieces an nephews: Emily Krynock, Jacob Krynock, Mellisa (James) Steward, Matthew Shelton. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Daniel Boytim. Office of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at St. Mary Byzantine Church, Marblehead, Very Reverend Protobresbyter Bryan Eyman Officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel where Parastas Services will be held Tuesday night at 7:30pm. Additional visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 9:00 until the Panachida Service at 9:30 am. Burial will be in St. Mary Byzantine Cemetery, Marblehead, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to the donor's choice.
