Mildred A. Hoffman

Mildred A. Hoffman, 93, of Graytown, Ohio, died Tuesday morning at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, Ohio. Mrs. Hoffman was born in Benton Township, Ottawa County on September 14, 1913, a daughter of John & Augusta (Bartel) Suhrbier. She was employed for 40 years at the former Standard Products Company, Port Clinton, OH. An active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Graytown, Mrs. Hoffman was the financial secretary for many years, and was a member of the women of the church. On December 7, 1943, she married Raymond Hoffman, and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1994. Mrs. Hoffman is survived by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Florence Mylander and Ruth Schimming; and her brother, Leonard Suhrbier. The family will receive friends from 9-11 A.M. Thursday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday. Pastor Robert Brandt will officiate, and interment will be in Elliston Cemetery, Elliston, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Graytown, Ohio.
