Michelle M. Mays

Michelle M. Mays, 59 of Oak Harbor, OH died Monday, April 8, 2024 at her home. She was born October 22, 1964 in Port Clinton, OH to the late John J. and Kathleen “Kitty” (Knodel) Rollheiser. She was a 1983 graduate of Oak Harbor High School. On May 28, 1994 she married Christopher Mays, and he survives.

Michelle worked as a Nurses-Aid for Riverview Nursing Home for 13 years. She then was employed as a Para-Legal for Kohli & Christie Attorneys in Oak Harbor for 15 years. She retired in 2022 as a Probation Officer for the Woodville Court #2. She was confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, laying on the beach, and cuddling her dogs.

Survivors include her husband Chris; children: Zach Holzmiller and Miranda Mays all of Oak Harbor; and brother John Rollheiser III of Toledo, OH.

Funeral Services will begin at 2pm on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel where the family will receive friends from Noon until the time of Services. Burial will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or Victory Cancer Center.
