Michael J. Dziak, Jr., 77, of Marblehead, OH passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Admirals Pointe, Huron, OH. He was born May 7, 1945 in Marblehead, OH the son of Michael J. and Helen (Capko) Dziak, Sr. He married Rosemary M. (Krawczyk) Lucas on October 3, 1969 and she preceded him in death on June 25, 2018. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War. Mike was the service manager for Lakeside Marine. He was a member of V. F. W. Post 7572, American Legion Post 555, Knights of Columbus and he previously was a volunteer firefighter with Lakeside Vol. Fire Department. He enjoyed spending time with his family and golfing.
Surviving are his daughters: Judy St. Clair of Thomasville, GA, Mary (Adam) Finke of Thomasville, GA, Cindy (Silas Crawford) Lucas Plottner of Marblehead; sons: Michael (Jerri) Lucas of Port Clinton, OH, Richard (Rachael) Lucas of Marblehead, OH; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Rosemary; infant daughter: Christine Ann Dziak; son-in-law: Steven Plottner; siblings: Mary Ann Monak and John Dziak.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. Parastas services will be held in the funeral home at 7:00 pm Thursday. Divine Liturgy will be 10:00 am Friday, January 13, 2023 at St. Mary Byzantine Church, 506 E. Main St. Marblehead, OH. Interment will follow at St. Mary Byzantine Cemetery, Marblehead, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or Danbury Fire and Rescue, 7870 E.
