Michael H. Jividen

Michael H. Jividen, 74 of Port Clinton, OH and formerly of Oak Harbor, OH died Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Home, Port Clinton. He was born May 20, 1946 in Marion, OH to the late Donald and Dottie (Harris) Jividen. On April 10, 1972 married the former Janette Wisegiver who preceded him in death January 11, 2017. Michael was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a retired truck driver. He had attended Shoreline Church, Oak Harbor and loved restoring antique furniture. Survivors include his children: Dedra (John) Sheppard of North Carolina, Joshua (Monica) Jividen of Port Clinton, and Jeremy (Staci) Jividen of Temperance, MI; 12 grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; daughter-in-law Donna Jividen of Toledo, OH; brothers: Mark Jividen of Rocky Ridge, OH, and Matt Jividen of Oak Harbor, OH; sisters: Cheryl Kleinhans of Port Clinton, Sandy VonGlahn of Toledo, OH, and Shawn Jividen of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son David Jividen, brother “Bud” Jividen, and sister Starr Owens. Services will begin at Noon on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, OH, 43452, with the family to receive friends beginning at 11am at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Western Reserve Cemetery, Rittman, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
