Michael G. Witt

Michael G. Witt, 66 of Elmore, OH died Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Mercy- St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, OH. He was born June 29, 1958 in Fremont, OH to the late Donald & Judith (Topel) Witt. He was a 1976 graduate of Woodmore High School. Mike was a machinist for Atlas Industries in Fremont, OH and retired from Chrysler in Toledo, October of 2021. Mike was an avid collector, enjoyed flea markets and garage sales. He also enjoyed traveling to Pigeon Forge with his kids and spending time with his family and cats.

Survivors include his children Conner (Katie Shreffler) Witt and Morgan (Jason Brough) Witt, both of Elmore, OH; brother Scott (Cali) Witt of Gibsonburg; brother & sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, August 9, 2024 from 2-5pm at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel. There will be a small service beginning at 5pm at the Funeral Home following visitation. Family and friends are then invited to gather ring at the Portage Inn, Elmore. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Ottawa County Humane Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
