Michael E. Peters

Michael E. Peters, 57, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on August 19, 2015 at his residence. He was born on September 14, 1957 in Findlay, Ohio, the son of Marion L. and Joyce (Edwards) Peters. Michael was a veteran of the United States Army serving his country during peacetime. He worked with his father as a siding installer at Peters Aluminum, Inc. as well as odd jobs in construction on the side. He enjoyed spending time on his computer, but most of all he cherished moments he spent with his nieces and nephews. Survivors include his father: Marion (Nancy), of Port Clinton; sister: Sheryl (Todd) Knieriemen, of Green Springs, Ohio; niece and nephews: Derek (Megan) Knieriemen, Nicole (Cory) Donnersbach, Robert (Brittney) Knieriemen, Seth (Arica) Knieriemen; great nieces and nephews: Haddie Knieriemen; Blake, Dominic, Gideon, and Lillyanna Donnersbach; Brody and Thomas Knieriemen; and Liam and Ellie Knieriemen. He was preceded in death by his mother: Joyce; sister: Valerie J. Peters and brother: Scott Peters. Private graveside services will be held at Union Cemetery in West Independence, Ohio.
