Melvin N. Hall, 81, of Port Clinton, OH died Friday, May 11, 2018 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born Feb. 19, 1937 in Matewan, WV the son of Melvin and Mary (Hegedus) Hall. He married Charlotte J. Leadman on Feb. 27, 1960 and she survives. Melvin was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Church of Christ and the Masonic Lodge. He retired in 1993 from New Departure, Sandusky. He enjoyed fishing, camping, yardwork and watching the birds and squirrels. Surviving are his wife: Charlotte; son: Gregory N. (Jamie) Hall of Oak Harbor; daughters: Deborah Hall of Port Clinton, Lana (Jimmie) Bryant of Oak Harbor; grandchildren: Christina Lester, Stephanie Owens, Jamie Burgos, Kelly Warga, Kyle Bryant, Kasey ONeal, Ashley Hall, Kaitlyn Hall, Cain Hall; six great-grandchildren; brother: Ronald (Barbara) Hall of West Virginia; sisters: Rosalie (Richard) Chaffin of Georgia, Sandra (Don) Brooks of West Virginia, Drew Norman of Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Fred and Daryl Hall. Private Family services will be held at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
