Melba K. "Kay" Johnson

Melba K. “Kay” Johnson, 74, of Catawba Island, OH passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, OH. She was born Feb. 25, 1947 in New Albany, IN the daughter of Owen and Louise (Marlow) Walters. She married Terry Johnson on Dec. 18, 1966 and he survives. Kay worked at Sears, Macys and J.C. Penny at the Sandusky Mall. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband: Terry; son Kevin (Tina) Johnson of Port Clinton; daughter: Julie (Randy) Human of Galena, OH; grandchildren: Tyler Human, R. J. Human, Jessica Johnson, Ryan Johnson; great-grandchild: Baleigh Passabet; brother: John (Karen) Walters of Corydon, IN; sisters: Phyllis (Terry) Neidiffer of New Albany, IN and JoAnn Wells of New Albany, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 pm Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Tuesday from 2:00 pm until the time of the service.
