Maxine (Ross) Hill

Maxine (Ross) Hill, 66, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Thursday, January 8, 2009 at her residence. She was born on February 22, 1942 in Turkey Creek, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ben and Virgie (Tiller) Williamson. She married Joseph Richard Ross, the father of her children, on September 6, 1958 and he preceded her in death on November 8, 1983. She then married Carl L. Hill in 1986 and he also preceded her in death. Maxine was a homemaker, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters: Linda (Gerry) Heschel, of Port Clinton, OH; Sharon (Michael) Sears, of Fremont, OH; Tina (Jammie) Forrest, of Worthington, OH and DeDe Davis, of Fremont, OH; grandchildren: JR (Liz) Heschel, Julie (Troy) Whiteside, Amber Ross, Joe Mathews, Zackery Sears, Ashlly Sears, Nickole Sears, Katie Forrest, Kimberlie Forrest, and Charles Davis; great grandchildren: Sydney Heschel, Peyton Heschel, Cooper Tilson and Cole Whiteside; brother: Lawrence (Sarah) Williamson, of Port Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands; brothers: Avery, RC, and JC Williamson; half brother: Keenis Preece and half sister: May Salmon. At Maxine's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, where memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM.
