Matthew Lee Zibert

Matthew Lee Zibert, 15, of Port Clinton, OH, died Saturday at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton. He was born January 31, 1991 in Port Clinton, a son of John Zibert and Sheila (Wadsworth). Matt was a sophomore at Port Clinton High School. An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, camping and duck hunting. Surviving are his mother, Sheila (Mike) Hudson; father John (Kim) Zibert; brothers, Adam, Christopher and Austin; sisters, Paige and Morgan; grandparents Bob and Mary Lou Zibert, Artie and Shawn Wadsworth, Rick and Brenda Ish, Ruth Burnette, Bill and Barb Lowe, Kenneth and Wanda Dailey and Mike and Anita Hudson; great grandmother, Jean Tarr; and best friends, Jason, Kyle and Nate. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Arthur and Jackie Wadsworth, Ruby Young, John and Mary Zibert and Gwendolyn and Clayton Stout; his cousin Jaycob Atwater, and good friend Jake Hefflinger. The family will receive friends from 1-4 and 7-9 P.M. Thursday at the Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, where funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday. Interment will follow in Rushau Cemetery, Carroll Township. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Matt Zibert Memorial Fund, c/o the Citizens Bank, 185 S.E. Catawba Road, Port Clinton.
