Mason Virgil Blosser

Mason Virgil Blosser, 93, of Catawba Island, Ohio died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Riverview Healthcare Campus in Oak Harbor. He was born on April 4, 1919 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Raymond and Bertha (Schmall) Blosser. On June 15, 1957 he married Evelyn Ottoman and she survives. Mason graduated from Lima Central High School in 1936, graduated from Bluffton College in 1940, and then attained his Master's Degree from the Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, Illinois. He worked as a journalist in Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania for 37 years, retiring in 1981. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Raymond Blosser.
