MaryAnn Behm, 77 of Oak Harbor, OH died Thursday, September 20, 2018 at her home under Hospice care. She was born September 10, 1941 in Port Clinton, OH and was welcomed into the home of Walter "Stub" and Helen (Harnad) Branum. She was a 1959 graduate of Oak Harbor High School and married Darald Rider that same year. Two daughters were born from that union: Carol & Sharon. After the girls were in school, MaryAnn was a waitress in several area restaurants. In November of 1973 she was employed as a dispatcher for the Ottawa County Sherriff until December 31, 1981 when she moved to San Jose, CA to reside with Loren Behm. She was employed for several companies as a receptionist and office manager. She married Loren Behm in Monterey, CA on October 31, 1992 (her favorite holiday). Loren was employed as a truck driver for several years for the Western States, and she was able to accompany him, which allowed her to travel to many states, and Mexico. In 1993, due to Lorens health issues, they returned to Marblehead, OH to be closer to family and friends. Loren would precede her in death on December 8, 2003 and MaryAnn moved to Oak Harbor in February 2004. Survivors include: daughter Carol (Rick) Lynch, Oak Harbor and their daughter Taylor Barker; daughter Sharon Sterling of Kansas, OH and her children: Michael Wills and Christy Glowacki; great- grandchildren: Madisen Glowacki and Brody Wills; brother Don (Charlene) Branum of Oregon, OH; sister Rose Marie Branum of Port Clinton, OH; sisters- in- law Sharon (Branum) Perry, Carol (Behm) Mesker, and Gerri Behm. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother William Branum, father of her daughters Darald Rider, niece Tina Branum, son- in- law Earl Sterling, and brother- in - law Kenneth Behm. The family will receive friends from 2-7pm Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel where a Service of Remembrance will begin at 7pm. Burial will be Private. In lieu of flowers, "someone said you cant eat the damn things!" contributions may be made to Stein Hospice.
