Mary V. Baker

Mary V. Baker, 97, of Marblehead, Ohio, died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, Ohio. She was born in Clymer, Pennsylvania on January 21, 1914, a daughter of Michael & Elizabeth (Lengell) Aronsky. On July 28, 1934, she married Dennis F. Baker in Erie, Pennsylvania, and he preceded her in death in 1999. Mary was a graduate of West High School and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and V.F.W. She also was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Marblehead, and the Danbury Senior Center. Mary was the business of manager of Danny's Auto Body for 27 years, retiring in 1971. Sheis survived by her children, Loretta Grentzer, Marblehead, and Dennis (Debra) Baker, Tampa, Florida; 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 East Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, with the Rev. Joseph Radvansky officiating. Interment will be in Clemons Cemetery, Marblehead. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
