Mary Margaret “Mabel” Sauvey, 74, of Lakeside, died Saturday September 16, 2006 at her residence. She was born May 5, 1932 in Marblehead, the daughter of Andrew and Margaret (Harnad) Turinsky, Sr. Mary was a retired gardener for the Lakeside Association. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Marblehead, a past president and member of the Altar and Rosary Society, and a member of the Cemetery Committee. Surviving are her daughter Margaret (Keith) Warren of Lakeside; sons Thomas (Ruth) of Cleveland and Phillip (Sueann) of Alaska; grandchildren Cassandra Warren, Christine, Michael, Sean, Kiersten and Ashley Sauvey; sisters Barbara Merrill and Zita Rhea; and brothers Coleman and Andy Turinsky, Jr. all of Marblehead. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank “Chic” on January 1, 2000; sons, Jeffrey and Charles; sister, Alberta Turinsky and brother, Francis Turinsky. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Monday at the Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside-Marblehead. Additional visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. Tuesday until a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marblehead. Rev. James Brown will officiate and interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeside Volunteer Fire Department.
