Mary Poloni

Mary Poloni, 92, of Port Clinton, OH, died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. She was born April 23, 1914 in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Belica) Malik. She married Martin Poloni on August 22, 1931, and he preceded her in death on August 10, 1981. Mary was a member of the former St. Paul Slovak Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, where she was active in the Altar Guild and Junior Guild. She worked at the Standard Products Company, Port Clinton, for several years. Surviving is her daughter, Mary Ann Molnar of Port Clinton; son, Marty Poloni of Houston, TX; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, John and Andrew Malik, and her sister, Sue Malik. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 25, 2006, at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton. The Rev. Kurt Burows, Jr. will officiate, and interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, Sandusky, or Resurrection Lutheran Church, Catawba Island.
