Mary Lou Voight

Mary Lou Voight, 75, of Port Clinton, OH died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at her residence. She was born July 9, 1940 in Port Clinton, the daughter of Roy and Katherine (Webb) O'Nan. She married John E. "Jack" Voight on May 1, 1976 and he preceded her in death on January 14, 2016. Mary Lou graduated from Port Clinton High School and Beauty School in Cleveland. She ran her own beauty salon in Port Clinton for many years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Port Clinton where she was very active. She was also a volunteer at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and traveling with her husband, Jack, especially whale watching. Surviving are her sons: Eric John (Jennifer) Voight of Lancaster, OH, Joseph Edward (Marla) Voight of Clarksville, TN, Greg Alan (Debbie) Voight of Lancaste, OHr; grandchildren: John Voight, Alex Voight, Sarah Voight, Spencer Voight, Josh Voight, Ryan Voight, Chris Voight, Katie Voight, Simon Voight; great-grandchildren: Kazi Voight and Kolbey Voight; niece: Jody (Stuart) Gahn of Port Clinton; nephew: John (Sheila) O'Nan of Naples, FL; great-nephews: Patrick Gahn of Columbus, Ross (Nicole) Gahn and their daughters: Kaitlyn and Kyleigh of Perrysburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, brother: Edward O'Nan and sister: Betty Boehler. Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 am Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Bruce Batchelor-Glader officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Additional visitation will be held in the church on Thursday from 9:30 10:30 am.
