Mary L. Morrisette, 86, of Port Clinton, OH died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, OH. She was born November 23, 1929 in Toledo, the daughter of Valva and Kathleen (Brown) Hymon. She married Milton D. Morrisette on Dec.3, 1962 and he survives. Mrs. Morrisette was a member of Grace United Church. Surviving are her husband: Milton; sons: Ronald Smith of Port Clinton, John (Ida) Matthews, Jr. of Sandusky, Michael Matthews of Sandusky, Kenneth (Carolyn) Morrisette of Fremont; daughters: Essie Cole of Port Clinton, Geneva Matthews of Sandusky, Kathleen Matthews of Sandusky, Audree Westbrook of Port Clinton; 26 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brothers: Albert Smith, Jr of Norwalk and Joseph Fortson of Port Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Dottie Smith, grandson: Kenneth Smith sisters: Velva Hymon, Jr., Cora Smith and brother William Smith. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Friday, May 6, 2016 at Grace United Church, 1229 State Rd. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Friday from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Rev. Raymond Jones will be officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
