Mary I Malik

Mary I. Malik, 96, of Port Clinton, died Friday, June 3, 2011 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. She was born September 26, 1914 in Port Clinton, the daughter of the late Andrew and Lena (Chipka) Miklo. She married Andrew Malik in 1937 and he preceded her in death in 1988. Mrs. Malik worked at Standard Products for eight years and she was a member of St. Paul Slovak Lutheran Church, Port Clinton where she was the church treasurer for 40 years. She was a member of the church Altar Society and the United Lutherans Society where she was a past officer. Surviving are her son John (Dianne Bernal) Malik of Lacarne; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Andrew; son: Ronald; brothers Andrew Miklo, John Miklo and sister: Julia Krawczyk. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, June 10, 2011 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where visitation will be held Friday from 10:00 until the time of the service. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Riverview Health Care Campus.
