Mary I. Darr

Mary I. Darr, 83, of Toledo, OH, died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Waterford Commons, Toledo, OH. She was born in Port Clinton, OH on May 21, 1922, the daughter of the late William & Nettie (Hineline) Earl. Mrs. Darr was a former resident of Knoxville, TN and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Toledo. She married Robert Darr on December 5, 1942, and he survives. Also surviving are sons, Thomas Darr, Larry Darr, and Michael Darr; daughters, Rita Thornton, and Elizabeth Olin; 19 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Darr, Jr. The family will receive friends after 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 11, 2006 until the time of the service at 3 P.M. at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, OH. Rev. James E. Peiffer will officiate, and interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
