Mary G Dobbs

Mary Grace Dobbs, 90, of Lakeside-Marblehead, went to be reunited with her husband and daughter on the day of her wedding anniversary, September 24, 2012. She was born November 19, 1921 in Decatur, AL the daughter of the late Roy and Cora (Lemlen) Buford. She married Billie Joe Dobbs on Sept. 24, 1949 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 2007. Mrs. Dobbs was a homemaker. Surviving are her daughters: Billie "Cookie" (James) Dress of Marblehead, Kim Dziak of Marblehead, Vicki (Marty) Soski of Marblehead; son: Mickey (Mina) Dobbs of Oregon; grandchidilren: Adam (Ellen) Dress of Port Clinton, Matthew Dress of Willington, FL, Stephanie (Joey) Uhinck of Marblehead, Jennifer (Keith) Baker of Marblehead, Tiffany (Doug) Geers of Cincinnati, OH, Justin Lee Dziak of Port Clinton, Brooke (Doug) Heikes of Dayton; great-grandchildren: Austin Dress, Nathan Dress, Annaliese Dress, Christian Geers, Mitchell Geers; Abigail Baker, Devon Baker, Erin Uhinck, Kelly Uhinck, Zoey Uhinck, Lilly Uhinck, Levi Uhinck. She was preceded in death by her husband: Billie Joe Dobbs; daughter: Kelly Dress; sisters: Marie Doski, Doris Rosemond; and brother Billie Buford. Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Chapel on the Lake with Brad Hall officiating. Burial services will be held at a later date.
