Mary Deshetler

Mary L. “Teenie” DeShetler, 78, of Port Clinton and Fremont, OH died Friday, March 30, 2007 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH. She was born March 14, 1929 in Toledo, a daughter of the late Corbett and Lela (Eckman) Ritzman. She married Donald E. DeShetler on July 26, 1951 and he preceded her in death on July 17, 1986. Mrs. DeShetler was a receptionist/seamstress for Thatcher’s Cleaners, Fremont, OH. She was a member of Fremont Power Squadron, Fremont Yacht Club, and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1610. She enjoyed boating, sewing, reading, traveling and having dinner with her family and friends. Surviving is her son, Gary L. DeShetler of Fremont; daughter, Vickie (Jeremy) Sneath of Port Clinton; grandchildren, Evan Sneath and Lana Sneath; and her brother, Corbett Ritzman II of Toledo, OH. She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Sanderson. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Sunday at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 2, 2007. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH.
