Mary Ann Molnar, 79, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on July 1, 1933 in Gypsum, Ohio, the daughter of the late Martin and Mary (Malik) Poloni. She married Robert S. Molnar on October 27, 1956 and he preceded her in death on March 25, 1971. During her working career she worked at various jobs including: doing bookkeeping at the former Lakeshore Dairy in Port Clinton; as a cafeteria aide at Port Clinton City Schools; as a machine operator at the former Standard Products in Port Clinton; and also as a past secretary at the former St. Paul Slovak Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. Mary Ann was a member of the women of the Moose Lodge #1610 in Port Clinton. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, crafts, and bingo. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends. She was also very caring and giving to everyone she met, and enjoyed helping others. Survivors include her daughter: Debora (Christopher) Foote, Berlin Heights, OH; sons: Robert (Linda) Molnar and Don (Tina) Molnar, of Marblehead, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a brother: Martin (Barb) Poloni, of South Carolina. Visitation will be held at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 11am until funeral services at 1pm, with Pastor Mike Wiechers officiating.
