Mary Ann Bartrom

Mary Ann Bartrom, 76, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, and formerly of Fremont, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Valley View Health Campus, Fremont. She was born on May 24, 1942 in Whitman, West Virginia, a daughter of George Lewis & Sarah Marie (Colgrove) Withrow. On February 14, 1959, Mary Ann married Jackie Bartrom, and he preceded her in death on December 16, 2016 after nearly 58 years of marriage. Mary Ann and Jackie were well known for their participation in county fair flea markets all over Northwest Ohio and in Texas for over 20 years. Mary Ann also assisted Jackie in the ownership and operation of Jacks Body Shop in Fremont for over 40 years. She is survived by children, Jackie Lee (Cheri) Bartrom, Oak Harbor, Terry (Diana) Bartrom, Fremont, Cathy (Rusty) Homler, Green Springs, Ohio, and Glenda (Troy) Faunce, Helena, Ohio; grandchildren, Jolee, Amanda, Jacob (Haili), Isaac, Renee, Ryan, Levi (Stephanie), Kyle, Bo (Morgan), and Kindra (Seth); great-grandchildren, Payton, Kaliber, Logan, Lane, Kadin, Mariah, Lakotah, Kyrah, Taylor, Maci, sisters, Virginia Stansberry, and Carolyn Sue Hensgen, both of Fremont. Mary Ann was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Eddie Bartrom, and brothers, George Calvin Withrow and Jackie Lee Withrow. A celebration of Mary Anns life will be held at 1705 S. S. R. 19, Fremont, OH on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 4:00 PM. Those planning on making a contribution in her memory may wish to consider Valley View Health Campus, 1247 N.
