Martha R. Schutt, 92, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on February 22, 1926 in Gibsonburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late Emery and Elsie (Heineman) Snyder. On April 24, 1954 she married Lowell Schutt and he preceded her in death on December 20, 2006. Martha worked in food service at Magruder Hospital for over 20 years until her retirement. She was a member of Erie Shores Assembly of God in Port Clinton, and enjoyed reading. Survivors include her daughter, LuAnn Schutt, of Port Clinton; sister, Marcella Yeupell, of Oregon, Ohio; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and siblings, Claud, Clyde, Melvin, Merl, Ralph, Earl, Thelma, Merlin, Hubert, twins Helen and Norman who died the same day they were born, Mable, and Virginia. Visitation will be held at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 6-8 pm. On Thursday, April 26, 2018, additional visitation will be held from 10 am until funeral services at 11 am at Erie Shores Assembly of God, 220 S. Gill Road, Port Clinton, with Pastor Harry Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Oak Harbor.
