Marjorie M. Marshall

Marjorie M. Marshall, 84 of Oak Harbor died Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, OH. She was born August 4, 1927 in Oak Harbor to the late Charles and Edna (Fetterman) Rippeon. She was a 1945 graduate of Salem- Oak Harbor High School. On July 31, 1953 she married Gerald J. "Jerry" Marshall who preceded her in death June 18, 2008. Marjorie was mainly a homemaker, who also worked as a Timekeeper at the Erie Army Depot, tended bar at the Oaks, and was a short order cook for the "Old Time Grill". She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor and loved to get together with her area friends and play Bunco once a month. Survivors include her sons: Robert L. Marshall of Columbus, OH and Richard L. "Skip" Marshall of Richfield, OH and grandson Jered Marshall. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and infant daughter Cathy Lee Marshall. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11am at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Salem Twp. Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Paul United Church of Christ or a charity of the Donor's Choice.
