Marjorie Faust

Marjorie A. Faust, 97, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at Providence Care Center, Sandusky, OH. She was born April 26, 1924 in Port Clinton, OH the daughter of Andrew and Hazel (Hillman) Boss. She married William C. Faust on September 28, 1946 and he preceded her in death on May 12, 1993. Mrs. Faust worked for 25 years at Port Clinton Savings and Loan and retired from Diamond Savings and Loan. She was the matron of the jail when her husband was sheriff and she was Port Clinton’s first female city treasurer. She also served on the Ottawa County Board of Elections. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton and she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, ceramics and painting. Surviving are her sons: Mark (Susan) Faust of Huron, Ned Faust of Huron; grandchildren: Jason A. Faust, Angela Routh; great-grandchildren: Avery Hunt, Jason W. Faust, Sadie Ahlers, Bradyn Routh; great-great-grandchildren: Jaxon and Jaidyn; step-grandchild: Justin (Jenny) Reyzek; step-great-grandchildren: Jake and Lizzie; sister: Gail (Peter) Lococo of Sandusky, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: William; grandson: Matthew Faust and daughter-in-law: Rita Faust. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH with visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
