Marjorie F. Kemp

MARJORIE F. KEMP, 81, of Marblehead, Ohio died Saturday, September 30, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky. She was born on November 10, 1924 in Lakeside, Ohio, the daughter of the late William & Emma (Pussehl) Miller. Mrs. Kemp was a lifetime member of St. John Lutheran Church in Marblehead; a member of WELCA- Women Evangelical Lutheran Church of America; member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Marblehead VFW Post #7572; and a member of Young At Heart. She enjoyed being a mother and grandmother to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Survivors include her husband: Pennington D. Kemp, whom she married on March 27, 1947; daughters: Jane Kemp, Marblehead; Nancy (Thomas) Shepler, Pensacola, Florida; Becky (William) Austin, Rockvale, Tennessee; sons: Joseph Kemp, Marblehead; Kerry (Patricia) Kemp, St. Petersburg, Florida; Kal (Robin) Kemp, Paradise, Michigan; 11 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson: Jason Austin; brothers: Edward, Charles, & Herbert Miller; and sister: Luella Webber. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 6, at 2:00 PM at Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, Marblehead or to Stein Hospice.
