Marjorie A. Busby

Marjorie Ann “Marge” Busby, 89, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born July 1, 1935 in Port Clinton, OH the daughter of Dwight and Kathryn (French) Milliser. Marge graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1953. She married Joseph H. Busby on May 28, 1955 and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2016. Marge first worked for the Matthews Boat Co. where she met her husband, Joe. She worked for Dr. Felber for 18 years as the office manager and also at Magruder Hospital for 13 years as a medical transcriptionist retiring in 2001. She was a past Matron of Port Clinton Eastern Stars. Faith and family were the cornerstones of her life. Her biggest pleasure was spending time with kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Second to that she was a lifelong Cleveland sports fan-Guardians, Cavaliers & Browns-she rarely missed a game!

Surviving are her sons: Paul (Edie) Busby of Delaware, OH, Karl (Monica) Busby of Port Clinton; daughter: Jo Ellen Busby of Fremont, OH; grandchildren: Bradley (Briana) Busby, Stephen (Heather) Busby, Karlie (Austin) Roe and baby Roe on the way, Olivia (Noah) Smith, Kacie Busby; great-grandson: Brayden Busby, Brycen Busby and Jonah Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Joe; sister: Mary Ellen Sams; brothers: Bill Milliser and Robert Milliser.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton with funeral services at the funeral home on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions may be given to Ida Rupp Library or the American Cancer Society. In lieu of flowers or donations, all well-wishers simply take time to appreciate each and every day, and spend time with loved ones whenever possible.
