Marion E. Laderach, 91, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Monday, May 13, 2013 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. She was born in Tiro, Ohio on October 6, 1921, a daughter of Gottfried & Anna (Meier) Zingg. A World War II bride, Marion lived in Seattle and New York City. After the war, she and her husband settled in Toledo, moving to Oak Harbor in 1963, where she lived until her death. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor, and was a past Worthy Matron of the former Oak Harbor Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her primary interest, activity, and passion was her family, but she was also an avid sports enthusiast, participating in younger years and following closely later in life. Marion loved gardening, crafts, funky jewelry, and stuffed animals. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Paul A. Laderach; daughter, Linda Laderach; sons, Dale (Laura) Laderach, Robert (Julia) Laderach, and Timothy (Jody) Laderach; grandchildren, Alison (Kacy) Culver, Todd (Katherine) Laderach, Thomas (fiance Karen) Laderach, Timothy Ray (Elissa) Laderach, and Samuel Laderach; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Madison Culver. Marion was preceded in death by her parents and 6 siblings. Marion's family will receive friends from 3-8 P.M. Wednesday at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor, with the Rev. David A. Voll officiating. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery, Walbridge, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts be made to the Capital Improvement Fund of St. Paul United Church of Christ or Odyssey Hospice, Maumee, Ohio.
